Challenge:Fisher Nuts was looking to create further awareness of its' "Simply Brilliant" campaign and drive incremental sales by challenging at-home cooks and bakers to include nuts in their recipes.
Solution:The "Fisher + 4" recipe contest asked fans to submit recipes on the contest site. Fans were to use only four ingredients + a type of Fisher Nuts. Each entry was listed on the site and the public voted for the finalists.
Marketing Resources:MRI was responsible for drafting the rules, judging criteria as well as developing and hosting the contest site complete with voting functionality and recipe database. MRI seamlessly handled all prize fulfillment responsibilities.
Results:The promotion successfully drove consumers to the Fisher+4.com website and resulted in nearly 2,000 registrations over the six month program. All of these unique recipes covered every type of Fisher nut product available and created a database for Fisher to uniquely target the at home cooks and bakers. |
