What is your role/job title at MRI?
As a Fulfillment Coordinator, I have many vital responsibilities. Each day is different. I help to verify prize submissions, book travel for prize winners; review prize codes and messaging for print quality, process rebates, and assist in inventory management as well as packaging supplies pricing/management.
What is your biggest accomplishment working at MRI?
After enjoying almost two years of being Office and Facilities Manager for MRI, I was eager to expand my knowledge and learn more about the MRI business world. I was fortunate that a position was open in the fulfillment department and was able to take on the role of Fulfillment Coordinator.
What do you love about your position/the industry that you are in?
I love that I'm in the business of giving away prizes! I love telling people that, "Yes people really do win!" It is so much fun.
What do you love about working at MRI?
MRI truly values its employees. I know that if I had any concerns that they will listen and react. I know my opinion matters! I love that the morale of this company is put high on the totem pole. I WANT to come to work every day, I ENJOY coming to work every day. Because of this, I want to work harder and put my everything into my career.
What do you enjoy to do outside of work? What are your hobbies/interests?
My free time is spent with my daughter Sarah, who is 5-going-on-13, my husband Mark, and dog Alvin. I enjoy motorcycle trips with my husband, am active with a charity which supports those with Autism, and enjoy vacationing up in Door County, WI where my family has had property since the 1930's.
What is something interesting about you that people wouldn’t know from talking to you?
I am a certified phlebotomist. I have also worked with people with severe to profound disabilities starting in my high school years to my early adulthood. My experience caring for those less fortunate, training to be a nurse - even though I didn't make it a career- is part of what makes me who I am, I have learned never to judge someone by the way they look or what they can or can’t do.
If you could have coffee with one person, past or present, who would it be?
My grandmother who passed away when I was 13. I would love to sit and listen to her stories about when she was my age.
